Today was once again one of the worst days for any pet owner. We took Penny to the vet for the last time. We got her in February of 2014 after Zoey was diagnosed with a heart issue. She was from the same litter as Zoey and they seemed to recognize each other right away and the two grew into inseparable friends. We took them both with us everywhere. She loved belly rubs and being held like a baby in your arms. She was a wonderful dog and a great family member. She could find every lost ball from all the lacross practices, her max found in the grass was 12! She was a great catch with the frisbee and excited to meet new people. She loved the water and playing the raft with all the kids and would climb the ladder to get on top of the raft. and when all the kids jumped off she would too. She loved carrying her toys around and was caught many times on the ring camera with a toy in her mouth as she would prance around the yard to show everyone that she had something she was proud of. Once of the most adorable things was every time we came home with bags in our hands Penny would have to stick her nose int he bags to see if we brought anything home for her. If we did she would pull it out and be so proud of herself. She will be forever be missed.
